"The Roasted Pheasant"

Meet Me

The stage is set. The curtain rises. At rise: there’s a spotlight on a natural-bearded actor.

Chris: “Let’s talk about who I really am and what I like to do outside of performance art!”

I am an all-around creative type of person. According to Magic: The Gathering, a “Johnny”. I’m constantly looking for new ways to express who I am in everything I do, explore different schools of thought, and challenge myself. I’m an avid gamer, streamer, cosplayer, writer, and I even design tabletop games!

As a cosplayer, my favorite character to play so far has been Harry DuBois, superstar (read: alcoholic) mutton-chopped megacop from the hit roleplaying game Disco Elysium. I’ve done multiple professional shoots as the character as he struggles to control all of the voices and impulses in his head. Multiple DE projects I’ve been involved with have even gotten the attention of the game developers themselves!

The current game I’ve been designing is titled “Avatars: Mythos in Modern Day”. This is a whole roleplaying system (ala Dungeons and Dragons) that is based around people calling forth the heroes of fiction, myth, and even history to combat the things that go bump in the night.
